This story touches me because I encounter men like this and I too find them despondent yet hopeful. If we can offer hope, and non judgmental, sharing and listening, we can encourage their desire to believe in the possibility of a new beginning for themselves.It takes time, and money and love .I am proud to say that I work as a cook at the OBM . The pay-off for me, is, not necessarily the dollars earned, but also gratitude I feel for my own life, as,it has become clear to me that life’s ever-changing and evolving situations and difficult circumstances could happen to any of us . For this knowledge I am humbled.

What a fantastic, hard-hitting, genuine post about Sinbad. Although I don’t enjoy the difficult subject, I am thankful to be exposed to it and appreciate the way the message was conveyed – with dignity, warmth and humanity. Bravo.
